Our family hand pours all of our items in batches where we can monitor the process closely to ensure a superb final product. We then allow two weeks for proper curing before we ship which also allows the scent to bond better with the wax. If your item is in stock it will ship within 48 hours from ordering but if not, we will work diligently to complete your order.
Yes! We love working with larger orders just the same as our single orders. Large orders may need additional lead time depending on the volume. For custom orders, we will work with you to choose the perfect item and scent!
We will gladly accept and refund unused candles (unlit) in the same condition you received them from our online store. Please examine your items at receipt, making sure everything is perfect but in the event it is not, please take a picture and submit with your refund request. All refunds are to be submitted 48hrs from receipt. What we will not accept, nor refund, are items shipped back to us damaged. We pride ourselves on safe transport to your location and we would need the same in return. Chipped or broken items are ineligible for refunds, and we encourage you to use the same shipping box you received your item in for returns if needed. Refunds are credited back within 48 hrs of receiving and we are not responsible for return shipping costs. Unfortunately, there are no returns on custom orders, wax melts, or room sprays.

You've just unboxed your beautiful new scented candle and would like to maximize the life of it. This is where crucial first steps will aid in prolonging the life of your candle. Aside from making sure the wick is trimmed to 1/4' inch throughout your burn, the next most important step is to let your candle achieve a full burn pool when lighting soy candles. The easiest way to reach that point is allowing your candle wax to burn the diameter of your vessel. While a popular formula for that is a 2" diameter=2 hours, 3" diameter=3 hours, 4' diameter=4 hours, we feel that pool is accomplished by allowing a full, edge to edge wax melt of the vessel. Soy products have a burn memory and if you don't allow for proper pooling your wax will have a harder time melting, if all, around the edges. For coconut apricot, there is no need to achieve a burn pool as there is no burn memory. NEVER ALLOW YOUR CANDLE TO BURN MORE THAN 4 CONSECUTIVE HOURS AND NEVER LET IT BURN COMPLETELY TO THE BOTTOM OF VESSEL. Both are safety hazards and pose a fire and safety risk. Overheated glass will crack and, in some cases, explode. Please take the proper steps to ensure your safety. Dispose of your candle when roughly 1/2" of wax is left.
All of our items have been tested to perform at the best possible level and by adding items, you run the risk of fire hazards, clogged wick, and underperforming products. Additionally, our items are only insured with the ingredients that we add.
Longer wicks have the tendency to burn unevenly, which can affect the "memory burn". Keeping it trimmed also helps prevent soot and from keeping the candle from burning too hot. Soot accumulation can actually damage your candle and create poor air quality. Healthy flames are typically 1/2" to 1" and anything higher than that can leave uneven burning and even pose a fire risk depending on the wick placement. We recommend a good wick trimmer to keep the clipped wick portion out of the wax, and if you would like to add one to your order we have them in our online store.
We have simplified the wax melt cleaning process by adding a liner to your order. When you are done simply remove the liner and peel back the sides to remove the used wax. Don't feel like cleaning the liner? No problem, we offer additional liners in our store. To maximize the scent from your melt we recommend turning the warmer off when the scent fills the room. Never leave warmers unattended or burning more than 3 consecutive hours.
A unique trait to wax is that is has burn memory. Simply put, when you burn a candle, the wax has a memory since previously melted wax is much softer and takes less time and heat to remelt again in comparison to wax that has yet to be melted. Typically, this happens when lighting and extinguishing your candle prematurely without allowing the surface to melt completely from edge to edge in your container and is most important on its first lighting. In the event your candle starts to tunnel, a common practice is to wrap the exterior of the container in tinfoil leaving the flame open before lighting creating a heat shield. Take caution when handling melted wax or containers that have been burning as both present a burn hazard.
